MUT declares a trade dispute with the Government on IFE negotiations
Following an ultimatum issued by the MUT on the negotiations and financial proposal for personnel at the Institute for Education (IFE), the MUT has not received any updated proposal for the new collective agreement. The union has declared a trade dispute and notified the Education Ministry that unless the situation shall be addressed during a meeting being held later this week, the union shall be ordering industrial actions at the Institute. The agreement being negotiated covers all grades employed by the IFE since MUT represents the entire Government entity. The union is in communication with its members and shall be directing them accordingly.
