Self and external Evaluation of QUality in EUrope to Nourish Childhood Education Services (SEQUENCES – 2016-2018)

Prove Font Sequences-06 small full EU logoThe MUT is a partner in the Erasmus+ project entitled “SEQUENCES – Self and external Evaluation of QUality in EUrope to Nourish Childhood Education Services”. Its objectives are to promote quality culture and quality assurance approaches in ECEC settings, to develop ready-to-use tools for self and external evaluation with transnational validity and to come up with guidelines and recommendations for the different target groups identified. Partners in this project amount to eight from different European countries including coordinators of the project Associazione FORMA.Azione srl based in Perugia, Italy. Gender Equality Training to overcome Unfair discrimination Practices in education and labour market (GET UP – 2016-2018)

This project, entitled “Gender Equality Training to overcome Unfair discrimination Practices in education and labour market”, is funded through JUST funds by the Directorate-General Justice and Consumers within the European Commission. It is aimed at addressing the stereotyping of educational and career choices and at promoting gender equality in education, training and career guidance. Partners of this project amount to eight with the coordinator being UIL – the Italian Labour Trade Union. Other partners are from Bulgaria, Lithuania, and other transnational organisations such as the Association for Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA) and the European research and development service for the social economy, cooperatives and participative enterprises (DIESIS).

Peer Review in Adult Learning to Improve formal and Non-formal Education (PRALINE – 2014-2017)

PRALINE project websiteThe MUT is currently part of the Erasmus+ project entitled “Peer Review in Adult Learning to Improve formal and Non-formal Education”, which aims at developing innovative and sustainable initiatives to support Adult Learning providers, specifically those of the non-formal domain, in approaching Quality Assurance in their organization and training provision. Partners in this project amount to nine from different European countries including coordinators of the project Associazione FORMA.Azione srl based in Perugia, Italy. Investing in Education: Strengthening the involvement of teacher trade unions in the European Semester on education and training (2015-2017)

The overall objective of this EU-Funded project is twofold. Firstly, the project aims at addressing the overarching EU employment and social policy challenges as laid down in the European Commission’s Communication ‘Taking stock of the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth’ COM (2014) 130 with a view to contribute to the Europe2020 two-fold headline targets on education and training. Secondly, it aims at strengthening the social dimension of the economic and monetary union (EMU). The project coordinators are the ETUCE Secretariat and the Danish Union of Teachers (DLF).
