MUT issues directive on Colleges SDP
The union has objected with the Education Ministry regarding the implementation of colleges SDPs in some schools. This follows communications by some Head College Networks requiring schools to work on colleges SDPs. Schools are being inundated with tasks and targets to be attained to satisfy SDPs of colleges. Whilst the direction has been withdrawn by some HCNs, others are persisting with it, leading the union to issue a directive to all SLT members and all educators to refrain from working on Colleges SDPs. It is clear that this direction to schools is a way to bypass the current directive by the union on school SDPs.
