The MUT received information about food handling courses being held in Gozo outside school hours. The Union wishes to clarify that members are therefore not under any obligation to attend for the food handling courses which are being organized on a voluntary basis.

Given that there is no agreement on the matter, the MUT would like to notify all schools that they are not obliged to accept students’ personal unofficial/unauthorised electronic devices including tablets and mobiles. Any instances of pressure on Union members should be reported to the Union.
