Members are hereby being notified that the MUT office in Ħamrun will be closed on Monday 31st October Tuesday 1st November 2022. The MUT office will reopen as usual as from Wednesday 2nd November.

The MUT is experiencing an increase in the incidents of intimidation and bullying at workplaces. This is being experienced in schools as well as in offices. The MUT is currently discussing with the Education Ministry the allocation of the 15 mins break of LSEs in resource centres. Although the provision is in place for LSEs who are supporting one-to-one students in mainstream, the union is seeking that this provision shall apply also to LSEs in resource centres.
