Co-ordinators at Sixth Forms shall refrain from organising CoPE sessions as this is beyond their duties. Any undue pressure needs to be reported to the MUT through the usual channels.

Directive to Guidance Teachers

The MUT is informed that Guidance Teachers are being requested to carry our duties which were previously assigned to Student Services grades. The MUT is therefore directing Guidance Teachers not to take any new duties taken from other grades who are following legitimate Union directives.

Directive to SMT in State Schools regarding information being requested

The MUT is informed that MEDE is requesting predictions regarding outings and photocopies for the next scholastic year. This practice has not been discussed and agreed upon with the union and MUT is thus directing SMT to refrain from providing the requested information.

Directive to State and Church School Teachers on CRCs and related documentation

Teachers are hereby being directed by the MUT not to do any work related to CRCs including the insertion of medical certificates and notes from parents. Any pressure to comply should be notified to the MUT through the usual channels.
