Following representations made by the MUT in the past weeks, the Union is informed that all educators who shall participate in the Options Fair outside school/office hours shall be compensated. MUT reminds members that the said participation is voluntary.

The MUT would like to note that it has not changed its direction regarding the collection of money by teachers. Teachers are not responsible for such collections and can always refuse to collect any money. Any instances of pressure to comply can be reported to the MUT through the usual channels.

The MUT notes that teachers of English, Mathematics, Maltese, Science and Vocational subjects are being requested to attend training/consultation on SEAC subjects.
