The MUT would like to note that it has not changed its direction regarding the collection of money by teachers. Teachers are not responsible for such collections and can always refuse to collect any money. Any instances of pressure to comply can be reported to the MUT through the usual channels.

The MUT notes that teachers of English, Mathematics, Maltese, Science and Vocational subjects are being requested to attend training/consultation on SEAC subjects. Following communication with the Director General for Curriculum, Lifelong Learning and Employability, the MUT is directing members to refrain from carrying out resits of assessments in Science at Primary level.
