Following the declaration of trade dispute with MCAST on the agreement of managers (read HERE for more information), the MUT received an updated financial proposal from MCAST after a conciliation meeting before the expiry of the ultimatum. Educators in different schools are reporting that they are being requested to participate in the clearance of the classrooms by moving furniture amongst other things. The MUT clarifies that this does not fall under the responsibility of educators.
