Ultimatum on the IFE agreement
The MUT is giving an ultimatum to the Education Ministry to discuss and seek a solution for the financials of the new Institute for Education agreement. This follows the unsatisfactory financial proposal received by the union. The ultimatum expires on 17th March. Negotiations on a new collective agreement have been ongoing since 2020 and it is unacceptable that the agreement is still at a standstill after more than three years. The union shall be meeting members at IFE in the coming days.
