MUT lawyers reply to intimidating legal letters sent by St Albert the Great Rector but photo taking by security officers may lead to further intimidation
In a legal letter penned by MUT Lawyers Dr Rebecca Mercieca and Dr Keith Borg, the two lawyers responded to the intimidating legal letters sent by the Rector to three educators at the college. This was a desperate attempt by the college Rector to stop their participation in the peaceful protest. However, unfortunately, it may not be the end of the story. A photo taken by a media reporter together with filming of the protest issued in the news revealed that one of the six security personnel engaged by the rector to protect the school from the pacific protesters took several photos of the participants. Will these be passed to the rector and pseudo-board for further intimidation? Was this security officer engaged by the rector for this purpose? The MUT will not be intimidated.
