The MUT and the University of Malta sign a new collective agreement for the Junior College
The MUT and the University of Malta signed a new collective agreement for academics at the Junior College. The agreement was signed by the MUT Officials and delegate and by the outgoing Rector of the University of Malta Prof Alfred Vella, and the President of the University Council Perit Karmenu Vella in the presence of the Education Minister Hon Byron Camilleri, the new Rector Prof Frank Bezzina, OPM and University of Malta Officials. The agreement provides improved conditions of work and financials to academics and was approved by the absolute majority of MUT members last week. The MUT is looking forward towards its implementation, whilst thanking all officers involved and members for their support.
