MUT declares Trade Dispute with MCAST – issues ultimatum on the agreement of Managers
The MUT has communicated with the MCAST management and DIER whereby it has declared a Trade Disute on the fact that negotiations on the new collective agreement for the grades of Managers have been stalled for several months. All attempts which were made to continue negotiations did not result in any action and therefore the MUT has no option but to declare a trade dispute with the institution. The MUT is giving an ultimatum to MCAST to continue negotiations. This shall expire on Tuesday 16th June at 5pm. The MUT shall be announcing any further actions as applicable and depending on the response by MCAST.
