Directive for ITS staff not to adjust marks on request
The MUT has written to the Executive Director at the ITS after it received complaints from a number of lecturers that they are apparently being asked by the Registrar to adjust students’ marks so that they can obtain a pass mark. The Union stated that this is not acceptable and asked him to look into the matter. In the meantime, staff at ITS are being directed not to carry out such adjustments to the students’ marks.
