Meetings and requests during holiday periods
The union received reports about requests to teaching grades including SMT members to attend meetings during holiday periods. The MUT would like to remind all members that they cannot be requested to attend meetings during holiday periods. Any pressure to attend such meetings should be reported to the union. Further to this, any communicated requests by the Directorate during the summer recess are to abide by the parameters of the Collective Agreement currently in place between the Union and respective entities.
