Reminder: Clarification regarding directives for teachers of Mathematics and Maltese
The MUT is clarifying the directives in force, particularly regarding assessment.
The directives, which are for Secondary School teachers and HoDs of Maltese and Maths, specified already that no work is to be carried out on assessment. The following are clarifications in view of pending assessment.
1) Members are being directed to refrain from providing exam papers or, if provided by management, they are to refrain from correcting exam papers.
2) Members are being directed to refrain from carrying out any work on oral and listening examinations, including reading of papers during any exams.
3) Members are to refrain from providing any assessment mark or any other form of assessment report.
Any undue pressure is to be reported to the union.
