The MUT received reports that some schools are requesting LSEs to provide schemes and record of work. The union clarifies that these documents are not part of the planning documents of LSEs and therefore LSEs cannot be requested to provide such documents.

The MUT has communicated with MEDE regarding meetings being held by school management during the periods when educators should be working on their core teaching duties. Following discussions held with the respective directorate, it was agreed that KGEs shall only be required to submit their record of work at the end of the month. This decision has been requested since schemes of work cannot be provided following the change in methodology being carried out.
