Teaching load distribution and replacements

The MUT wrote to the Director for Education Resources after it received a complaint from members at Mosta Zokrija Secondary School in relation to teaching load distribution and replacements. The Union asked the DES to look into the matter and the Director for Education Resources has confirmed that he is looking into this.

The MUT is informed that St. Thomas More College has created templates and forms for educational outings and for departmental meetings which the Union considers an insult to the teaching profession and to educators alike. MUT to ask for recognition at St Patrick’s Salesian School

The MUT has asked for a meeting to be held with the Headmaster at St Patrick’s Salesian School in order to discuss the prospect of trade union recognition with respect to teachers, LSAs and psychologist employed with this school.
