Update on Għarb Primary School
The MUT and the Ministry for Education and Employment (MEDE) met on the situation at Għarb Primary and a way forward was discussed and agreed. The Union and the MEDE noted that various serious problems needed to be addressed urgently while at the same time safeguarding the integrity of persons who acted professionally throughout the scholastic year. All members of staff who asked or who agree to be transferred will be transferred while the others will be contacted by MEDE on a personal basis to clarify the situation. The Union will also be contacting its members accordingly (members at Għarb Primary who do not receive an email today should contact the Union to update their email address).
