Reminder: Special leave during this period
The MUT reminds members about special leave since members are still reporting various issues. Once again, it is being clarified by the union that there cannot be any stop leave during any period of the scholastic year and special leave cannot be refused arbitrarily. It must be granted if it does not affect the business continuity of the school and the requirement to be on premises ten minutes before the start of the school day does not apply during half days and hence cannot be equated with special leave. Also, special leave cannot be refused because it is on consecutive days or because it is the last day of school.
