Private companies bypassing schools to assign work to LSEs – directive
The MUT is informed that some private companies providing services to students with disabilities are bypassing schools and communicating directly with LSEs of students. The MUT is informed that these companies are placing additional demands on LSEs by assigning work to LSEs. These instructions are not passing through schools and are therefore not approved. In view of this situation, the MUT is directing all LSEs to refrain from communicating with private companies but to keep their school and respective employer as the only reference point with regards to work being carried out with students with disabilities.
