Presentation of MUT Proposals to PL
Union officials had a meeting with Prime Minister and PL Leader Dr Robert Abela, Hon Clifton Grima, Dr Amanda Spiteri Grech and Ms Alison Zerafa Civelli whereby the union presented formally its document entitled Malta Education with the vision for education. The MUT outlined the vision included in the document and there was an exchange regarding the work which has been carried out during the pandemic and the challenges ahead. Dr Abela praised the dialogue between the sides and mentioned again the commitment of the PL to raise salaries of educators during negotiations of a new sectoral agreement.
