MUT will not partner with whoever undermines human and union rights, reiterates solidarity with Turkish education community
The Ministry of National Education of Turkey contacted the MUT and stated that it is ready to be a prospective partner if the Union is submitting any applications for Erasmus+ project/s. In a reply, the Union stated that it fails to see the point of working with a Ministry that has apparently allowed hundreds of its employees to be arrested for political motives. As stated a number of times, the MUT reiterates its solidarity with the Turkish education community at this difficult time and joins the EI/ETUCE in its effort to remain committed to the protection and promotion of human and trade union rights in Turkey.
