Industrial Actions – MCAST Managers

The MUT is hereby issuing the first set of directives for Managers at MCAST. The directives follow the declaration of a trade dispute, ultimatum and the failure in reaching an agreement on a satisfactory updated collective agreement, which expired in December 2024.

The MUT is hereby directing all Managers at MCAST to follow this list of directives for duties at MCAST and MG2I:

1. No work on quotes
2. No work on direct orders
3. No work and participation in events
4. No work on the tendering process (from drafting to adjudication)
5. No work on procurement
6. No work on invoices
7. No work on payments
8. No work on Help Desk
9. No work on contracts
10. No work on boards, committees and meetings
11. No work on HR activities and quality assurance
12. No work on CMIS
13. No participation in audits and data validation
14. No communication with external suppliers, agencies, contractors, ministries or other third parties
15. Ignore the directive about the 3-day timeframe to reply to queries and emails

The directives shall come into force on Monday 20 April 2026. The MUT shall support all Managers who shall follow industrial action.
