MUT signs new agreement for Student Support Services grades
The MUT and the Ministry for Education today signed a new agreement for state Student Support Services grades following several months of intensive negotiations and a vote by members within these grades in which it was approved unanimously. The agreement covers several multidisciplinary professions which include, amongst others, resource work, youth work, career advice and counselling services within the Ministry for Education. This is the second agreement signed by the MUT for these grades, and includes improved salaries, allowances, and career progressions together with improved conditions of works.
The MUT shall now continue with its work with the respective Directorates within the Ministry for Education to follow its implementation. The union would like to thank MUT members and the Malta Association for the Counselling Profession for their support throughout.
