MUT requests investigation on alleged direction of DES in breach of Employment and Industrial act
The MUT communicated formally with MEDE to request an investigation about an alleged direction issued by a College Principal with the backing of the DES. The MUT received information that the said Principal directed members to act against a directive issued by MUT, claiming that the directive has been withdrawn. This led to an industrial issue between the MUT and the DES and a conciliation meeting about the same did not lead to any positive outcome. The Union asked the Ministry to investigate the case and take the necessary disciplinary actions as applicable.
