MUT congratulates DES on issuing transfers before summer recess
The MUT wrote to the Minister for Education and Employment to congratulate the Directorate for Educational Services for the achievement made this year whereby for the first time in recorded history state school transfers were issued before the start of the summer recess to the benefit of most. Whilst the Union is still in the process of ironing out some queries from members, it stated that on the whole it appears to have been a good exercise.
