Issues with the Public Administration Act proposed in Parliament
The MUT is in currently in discussion with the Principal Permanent Secretary and the Permanent Secretary at the Education Ministry as it is concerned about the implications of the proposed public administration act being debated in Parliament. The main concern is about an article being proposed regulating personnel carrying regulatory functions – the revolving doors concept. The MUT, through Forum Unions Maltin, has also flagged this issue to the Government. Members will be updated accordingly.
