For the Attention of Supply Teachers with PGCE Missing: CTP Guidelines for Courses
The MUT has made a request to the Council for the Teaching Profession (CTP) to issue guidelines for persons interested in applying for courses which would make them eligible for a permanent warrant. Such guidelines are helpful to persons concerned, including Supply Teachers without a PGCE, but are also beneficial for the CTP to reduce the amount of queries coming from people who ask about the multitudes of existent qualifications.
Following this request, the CTP has replied with a letter with such guidelines which can be accessed here.
