FES Child Care Extra Hours System to start from October
The MUT was informed that certain FES child care centres were implementing the system of extra hours for child care assistants with immediate effect and not from October. The MUT took up the matter with the FES CEO who confirmed that this system should start from October and not before. In view of this, the MUT has asked the FES CEO to issue a memo to all child care centres so as to clarify the matter and avoid confusion.
