Embracing an Inclusive Practice in the Early Childhood Cycle – Educators’ Perspectives

Christine Schembri, an Early Years Coordinator within the Institute of Community Services at MCAST, Paola, is conducting a research project called ‘Embracing an Inclusive Practice in the Early Childhood Cycle – Educators’ Perspectives’ and is collecting data from Head of Schools, Assistant Heads of Schools in charge of Early Years, Year 1 and Year 2 Teachers and Kinder 1 and Kinder 2 Educators through a short questionnaire (around 10 minutes).

The anonymous questionnaire focuses on the educators’ perspectives in relation to inclusive practices; students’ diverse needs; the Framework and Policy in Inclusive Education in Malta (2019); how is inclusion embraced in classes and schools; what type of barriers do educators encounter and suggestions and recommendations to embrace inclusive practice in the Early Childhood Cycle. Participation in this study will be greatly appreciated and interested educators can access the questionnaire through the link HERE.

N.B. Please note that the Malta Union of Teachers is just helping out in dissemination of information and is not responsible for this initiative or its details. Queries and difficulties on the above should therefore not be directed to the MUT but to the entity responsible.
