Distribution of Laptops – update
The MUT is informed that another batch of ca 2500 laptops is being distributed to educators in State Schools. This means that there shall remain an equal number of laptops to be distributed to complete the entire laptop refresh process. The union is highly concerned about the timing of this distribution process. Whilst there were considerable delays up to this stage, which the directorates insist was caused by international production issues, it seems that there are other serious issues for the remaining batch. The union has requested a meeting with the Ministry to discuss the matter.
Meanwhile, the MUT has been informed that distribution of laptops in Church schools is complete. Members with related issues can contact the union through the usual channels.
