Directive to LSE2s appointed in 2016, 2017 and 2018
The MUT has been making representations for months about a group of LSE2s who suffered an injustice due to recent changes in the PSMC whereby grades already in employment before their appointment to LSE2 progressed to step 12.3. This change impacted positively the latest group appointed in 2019 but not LSE2s appointed in 2016, 2017 and 2018. This injustice has not been addressed despite information from the Ministry that the matter is being discussed with OPM. The MUT is hereby directing all affected members to refrain from carrying out any work on IEPs until this issue is solved.
UPDATE 23/10/2019: In addition to this, the MUT is also clarifying that affected LSEs are to refrain from providing material in preparation for IEPs and also directing teachers not to work on IEPs in the absence of LSEs following directives.
UPDATE 29/10/2019: This includes work on MAPS and MAP sessions.
