Update 2: Directives to career guidance teachers and guidance teachers

The MUT is hereby directing career guidance teachers to refrain from carrying out work which is not being carried out by student services grades. They are directed to refrain from carrying out scheduled one-to-one sessions, participation in ‘I Choose’ fair and shadowing of trainees. The MUT shall extend directives to other grades if required.
UPDATE 29/10/2019: This directive is being extended to all guidance teachers. Guidance teachers shall refrain from doing any work related to the ‘I Choose’ fair and scheduled one-to-one sessions which are usually carried out by Career Advisors and Career Guidance Teachers.
UPDATE 21/01/2020: This directive is being extended to all members who are directed to refrain from carrying out any duties which are not being carried out by Student Services grades due to the directives in force.
