Directive to all SMT/SLT members in State Schools regarding procurement
The MUT is informed about directions being issued from the Directorates regarding new procurement regulations. Whilst the union upholds all measures to improve efficiency and accountability, the new directions shall multiply the work of SMT and limit substantially the autonomy of schools. To this effect, the union is directing members to refrain from following the new regulations being issued and to stick to existing practices. Meanwhile the MUT has communicated its objections to the Ministry.
