Directive to all members on OPM Directive 4
The MUT is hereby directing all members employed with the State to ignore the contents of Directive 4 issued by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM). The Union affirms that the service in the education field is not a mechanical one and it will not accept that the invaluable service of educators towards the well-being of students is reduced to a production line or time-limited exercise. No educator can be expected to work with a stopwatch to address day-to-day issues and whoever shall be implementing such measures in the educational sector has limited knowledge, if any, of the educational field.
