Directive not to print call selection results on all State School notice boards
Reference is made to Circular DS&S 15/2017 entitled “Displaying of Selection Board Results on Departmental notice boards” which states that scanned copies of result lists of calls are to be displayed on Notice Boards in all State Schools. This circular also states that it is imperative that such result lists are displayed on the schools notice board on the very same day they are received. This is unacceptable for a variety of reasons, most importantly because of the extra cumbersome paperwork for SMTs, extra expenses for the school and not to mention, of course, the data protection aspect of displaying such details. In view of this, members are hereby being directed to ignore this circular.
