The MUT would like to congratulate all Institute for Tourism Studies (ITS) lecturers who graduated in a Master’s in International Hospitality Management with the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences yesterday. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr Marco Bonnici, President of the Malta Union of Teachers congratulated graduands whilst he expressed his appreciation to ITS who has supported Lecturers in improving their qualifications.
He stated that “today’s achievement has been made possible when a shared vision between ITS management and MUT which has been implemented in the last two collective agreements led to a supportive structure for lecturers to improve their studies up to Master’s level. Improved qualifications shall enable lecturers not only to provide a better educational experience to students, but they shall also benefit from career progressions in their grades. This clearly shows the commitment of ITS and its lecturers towards the highest standards of teaching and learning. The MUT is proud to be part of this successful journey.”
