School Transport guidelines for State Schools

The MUT wrote to the DG DES and Director at DSS in relation to a draft document with guidelines aimed at addressing issues associated with school transport. The Union asked why these guidelines, formulated by schools themselves during their SDP meetings and which have already been green-lighted by the DSS, have never been adopted.

MUT thanks Ministry for timely intervention

The MUT wrote to the Minister for Education and Employment and the Permanent Secretary on behalf of its members at the Pieta’ Primary School to thank the Ministry for its intervention in the theft problem and for refunding the funds stolen from money collected for children’s outings.
