Update on MUT Office
The MUT will be closed on Monday 28th February and Tuesday 1st March 2022. The MUT office will reopen as usual as from Wednesday 2nd March 2022.

The MUT reminds all educators about the directive in force. All educators are directed to refrain from scanning or copying VET material to be provided through digital means to MATSEC. As already stated, this is clearly beyond the duties of educators. (Directive code: MUT D211222A)

The MUT reminds educators that the directive regarding access arrangements for SEC, VET and SEAC exams is still in force. All educators are to refrain from filling in the “School Psychological Service Examination Access Arrangement Referral Form” following changes in procedures without any consultation with the union.

The MUT would like to note that since there were no discussions with the Ministry on this programme, educators cannot be obliged to teach the Sports Career Development programme. Any pressure should be reported to the union through the usual channels.
