Clarification regarding request for Schemes/Record of work of KGEs
Following discussions held with the respective directorate, it was agreed that KGEs shall only be required to submit their record of work at the end of the month. This decision has been requested since schemes of work cannot be provided following the change in methodology being carried out.

Changes to English primary textbooks withdrawn following intervention by the MUT
The MUT notifies members that the direction regarding changes of English textbooks in primary schools was withdrawn as requested by the MUT. Update on Reading Recovery Programme issues
Following a meeting held between the MUT and the management of the National Literacy Agency, updated guidelines have been issued for participants of the Reading Recovery programme. These were forwarded by the agency directly to participants who are being encouraged to seek any further clarifications as required from the agency or from the MUT.
