Updated: Call for Applications for LSA2 and Assistant Heads (State Schools Primary & Secondary)
The MUT wrote to the Permanent Secretary and declared an industrial dispute after another month has passed, and in spite of the discussions had on this matter, the call for applications for LSA2 is still nowhere to be seen. In an immediate reply the MEDE confirmed that the call will be out by Friday 8th December. The MUT will follow this closely and if it is not adhered to by this date the Union will be ordering industrial actions.
With regards to the call for Assistant Heads*, the Operations Directorate has confirmed that it will re-issue the call for applications for a week to counter problems reported by various persons who missed the call for technical or due to titling reasons. Persons who already applied do not need to re-apply.
*Update 2/12/2016: Following discussion with the DG, it will be issued for both Primary and Secondary
