Break remuneration for Learning Support Educators
The MUT discussed the situation regarding the 15-mins break of LSEs assigned to one-to one students. It was agreed that the same arrangements adopted last year shall remain in force whereby the 15 mins break of all LSEs assigned to one-to-one students shall be remunerated. If an LSE requests, instead, that s/he takes the allocated break and the request can be accommodated by the school, the remuneration shall not apply. The forfeiture of payment for the break is applicable only when requests are presented by the respective LSE.
