Following discussions with the Director for Student Services, the MUT notes that official tags within the Gozo College are not mandatory but are meant for identification purposes only especially in instance outside school premises where cases apply. Thus, as previously notified, the Union confirms that members are not obliged to wear them.

Gozo College teachers cannot be obliged to wear tags

Following information that Peripatetic teachers at the Gozo College have been ordered to wear official tags when they are within school premises, the MUT would like to clarify that there is no agreement on such tags and therefore members are not obliged to wear them until such time as an agreement is reached.
