The Secretariat for Catholic Education has issued a call for applications for the posts of College Director at Sacred Heart College and for Assistant Head at St. Monica School, Mosta, and has asked the Union to circulate it. The MUT is directing members to refrain from carrying out resits of assessments in Science at Primary level. There is no agreement with the Union about such resits. Members who may have carried out resits are asked to refrain from issuing marks.

The MUT is hereby directing members not to work on the implementation of the homework policy published by the Directorates. This is being issued since this policy was never discussed with the Union and because there is considerable feedback with sound arguments by members against it.
