Archbishop’s Secretariat for Education refusing to help person in need
The MUT has written to the Archbishop of Malta after it is evident that the Archbishop’s Secretariat for Education is inventing excuses to refrain from helping a teacher who is requesting a temporary change of duties due to grave health reasons. The Secretary for the Archbishop is even expecting to dictate to the medical consultant on how to write the medical certificate. The Union believes that this is useless procrastination and refusal to aid a person in need. The case which was brought to the attention of the Church Authorities more than two months ago not only remains unresolved but has not even started being tackled.
