Renewed appeal to distribute laptops to educators who are still without one
The MUT has been informed that the government is to provide internet connection and laptops to students who lack technological resources. Whilst it being a commendable gesture that should help made students in need to continue with their studies, the MUT has renewed its appeal to the Ministry not to forget educators, mostly newly recruited and those waiting for their damaged laptop to be replaced, who are still without their work laptop. At this critical time, educators without something so essential to conduct their work should be a priority in terms of technology. Meanwhile the MUT has also requested financial compensation for these educators, who have been using their personal devices for months. More information once the MUT has relevant updates.
