MUT and Government agree on plan of actions regarding the water system at Paola Primaries
A meeting was held late this evening at the Paola Primary Schools between MUT President Marco Bonnici, Prime Minister Robert Abela, the Minister of Education Owen Bonnici and the Permanent Secretary Frank Fabri, together with technical personnel. During this meeting, a plan of action to ensure a constant water supply has been agreed upon. Works, which have started this evening, shall be continuing tomorrow Friday 28th February whilst the Government is guaranteeing that the water supply shall be in place as from tomorrow Friday.
The MUT reiterates that such actions should have been taken without resorting to industrial actions. Whilst monitoring the works being carried out, the MUT is therefore suspending the directives affecting the two schools.
