The Right to Disconnect – MUT ready to issue directives
The MUT is highly concerned that communication with educators is extending without any control beyond the respective working hours. Communications about work-related matters outside working hours are leading to increased stress levels as the divide between rest time, family life and work is becoming non existent. The Union has been alerting authorities about this but no concrete measures have been implemented to address this situation. MUT notified MEDE that it shall issue directives to all members in all educational institutions unless the matter is discussed and a solution is found.
