The new Minister for Education and Sport meets the MUT Council
Yesterday, the new Minister for Education and Sport, Hon Dr Clifton Grima, held the first meeting with the MUT Council. This followed the meetings held with MUT Officials immediately upon the Minister’s appointment. The discussion focused on the need to maintain dialogue between the MUT and the Ministry to address the current challenges and to solve the issues that will be faced in the coming months. The MUT President shared the Union’s appreciation to the new Minister for accepting the invitation to meet the Council during its first meeting following his appointment. Minister Grima thanked the MUT Council for its work whilst expressing his wish for scheduled meetings to be held to pursue discussions.
